I'm baffled why an institution like federal polytechnic oko,that has all the arms of student government,and the students be facing the following problems:
1. INTIMIDATION OF NONACADEMIC STAFFS:
Most nonacademic staffs of the institution certain times put up a Nonchalant attitude towards the students. Mention offices like;
THE MEDICAL CENTER,THE BOOKSHOP,THE BIO-DATA CENTER,AND OTHER NONACADEMIC OFFICES
Most of these offices treat the students of the institution like a Nonentity and nothing is being done about it.
For instance, A nonacademic office is meant to be open until 4pm,but you go to some offices by 2:30pm and the response they give to students will be "We are done for today"....
This is very uncalled for especially in an institution that has every arms of students government intact.
2.THE SCHOOL ANTI-CULT:
Yes! They have done a great job. But they still need to be called to order.
They are called Anti-cult,mainly to flush out cultists out,and it is understanding how they've also tried to secure the school environment especially during school activities like EXAMS,SCHOOL ELECTIONS,AND OTHER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES.
But they should stop treating innocent students like animals,and to stop using stylish means to take money from students of the institution,Their job is to protect the school and it environment.
Please let something be done.
